Some aspects of estate needed maintainance. Radiator in room required attention, loose panel . Beautiful garden and lawns but Canada Geese excrement problematic. Difficult problem to add ress

Great staff. Excellent breakfast. As its an events centre, they don't do evening meals. Wonderful location with stunning gardens.

The house is in a beautiful setting,staff realy lovely and friendly but room was very basic and small and not very inviting! The breakfast was lovely! Just felt that it was abit pricy for the The basic accommodation

Location was good, nice building.

Rather laid back attitude of staff in the breakfast room. Insufficient plates, had to ask for brown bread for toast as there wasn’t any on the breakfast table. Toaster was useless. Staff should have a uniform.

Breakfast excellent, staff very helpful, lovely place and setting. Rooms a little 'compact' but shower was great.

Great location, Plenty of parking and friendly staff. Bed was super comfy. Coffee, tea, body wash and towels were provided.

One of the light bulbs was broken in the bathroom so it was dark.

Location, location Location

This hotel is in a delightful and quiet part of the countryside. A wonderful place to chill in the grounds looking down at the lake with a drink in hand. BUT………….what is not clear is that you cannot get an evening meal, the hotel needs to make it clear, Bed & Breakfast only. We were not the only guests caught out by this. We were working the Game Fair at Blenheim and the last thing you want to do after a long day is turn up and find out you must go out to eat. That said, The Red Lion nearby was excellent with a great menu and service where we spent £70, take note Middle Aston. This is the information I received but having read their website material as below, what would most people think? Bar: The bar is open for drinks when Reception is manned, please speak to a member of the team on arrival. Please note that food is currently unavailable. (From their website today 28.08.2024) Featuring 55 cosy bedrooms, 8 versatile meeting spaces, 4 elegant dining areas ….so it would be no real surprise if food not available in the bar! So lovely spot, very decent room if sparsely furnished with no mirror and just 5 hangers for a couple. Given an evening meal was available I would happily stay again. Oh and bar shut Sunday evenings completely. Be more transparent please.
