Middle Aston House

Beautiful main house and grounds, village location

Small room. In a block not part of main house.Double bed not king. No bedside table on my side of bed, which was up against wardrobe. Dark room. Smelt a bit damp. Hair on toilet lid in bathroom. Soap dispenser almost empty, needed to request more. Only 2 teabags supplied. Requested more. Requests for extra supplies were met. Stayed here several times before and had much better room in different block. Felt very dissatisfied on recent visit.

Staff where friendly and helpful if you needed them for anything, the grounds are massive but poorly maintained, a shame because it really is a beautiful place and very peaceful.,Breakfast was good and plenty of it,the bar was a little expensive but only available when reception is open anyway.

The cleanliness was a little lacking, carpets where dirty in hallway and rooms,cobwebs in corners.Also the grounds needed a little more TLC as it could be a spectacular place with a bit of love poured into it.

Great location for what we wanted. The room was clean, tidy with plenty of power points. Also plenty of car parking near to the accommodation on site

Bathroom was a bit small and the room lacked natural light due to the window size

Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from. 10/10

Bed was extremely uncomfortable, bathroom could have been cleaner.

Stunning location

There was no mirror in the room only in the bathroom so couldn't see to blow-dry my hair. Could have done with a coffee table to put cups on while sitting

Beautiful location- and very friendly staff!

Bedrooms were quite small/close together- but overall clean and tidy. Very well maintained.

The external grounds were beautiful and location was good.

The inside was so dated. Did not match the outside at all. The whole interior was the equivalent of dorm rooms, it needs big re vamp to catch up with the beautiful exterior. Most rooms are in external buildings not the main hotel as advertised. Not many staff do breakfast was a help yourself situation - all laid out in the reception area? Felt very let down once inside the building as a whole.
