Middle Aston House

Location excellent. Lovely helpful staff But! We were Allocated disabled room as only one available. Small room. Would have been tricky to Use a wheelchair as not much space. Not comfortable enough to spend time in our room. The hotel itself was in a separate building which was shut on Sunday night from 6.00 pm so no lounge area or bar to sit in. We decided to go home

Good location

So overpriced. £550 for 2 nights and barely 3 star. Rock hard beds, badly furnished and decorated room, basic doesn’t even begin to describe it.

The grounds are beautiful

The price £260 was extortionist for the tiny room with minimal facilities The staff were uninterested. There was no catering apart from breakfast

Stunning old house we loved it. Receptionist was lovely and helpful. She opened the bar for us so we could have a drink by the lake before we went out. The room was clean and comfortable.

Only issue was no fridge in the room.

The room wasnt cleaned properly. It wasnt hoovered, there were cobwebs along with a big spider in the bathroom. The room was dated, small & with a tiny window. I struggled to get to sleep because of the exit green light in the room. I emailed Middle Aston to let them Know about our experience & had no response. For the price you pay, i expected high standards. I have stayed in hostels which have been alot nicer.

Not happy the outer door to the building with the bedrooms is not securely locked at night and during the day especially as the building is separate to the hotel.

The breakfast was great, good quality food and well presented. Lovely location

The room was cold, we had to ask for the heating to be switched on. The room was also small. There was no way to contact anyone out of hours.
