Middle Aston House

This is not a HOTEL which was not clear on Booking .com Bed was very comfortable One person maned the whole experience - was great and gave us an apple as this property is very remote and no access to any food.

No Staff !!!No food !!!!!!No guests !!!!! Luke warm shower !!!!

The property is beautiful in a picturesque location

It could be so much better as a country house hotel with a superb restaurant to match the location- it would be a winner!

We were welcomed by a very nice gentleman , checked in very quickly , some helpful house tips given and advised where our room was . The main house is beautiful and decorated very modern just how I’d love my own house to look , the grounds and lake was beautiful and very period like , parking was ample and close to our room The location was perfect and in a very pretty village , very out of the way , no shops or restaurant for miles , loved the location , so peaceful but you need a car it’s in the middle of no where We did not have breakfast as we were meeting friends for breakfast . However guests were eating breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake which looked amazing The host said we could have a coffee or juice before we left which was a kind gesture Next time we would spend a little more time enjoying this beautiful house as the bar looked lovely as did the drawing room

The room it was a little away from the main house in a block , only like 2 min away which was fine but would have liked if rooms were in the main house but don’t think they have rooms there , our room was very basic but bed a small double had clean white sheets and comfy pillows and we slept well Bathroom was small but ok and had nice clean towels Kettle in room And tea and coffee Hairdryer in room and a long mirror Small tv They are doing up this house and when done it will be lovely I’m sure They mainly specialise in conferences and corporate events so not so much a hotel But we liked it and would return again Kind host who welcomed us .

Location was beautiful, breakfast was lovely, it was perfect where we had our breakfast. They are doing some refurbishment and it's looking amazing so far, would go back another time and stay within the main building in future

The other couple staying were in the adjoining room, and were quite noisy when they returned in the evening, disturbing our sleep. Not the hotels fault, but why two rooms next to each other when they had so many other rooms.

Amazing property stunning views. Staff where so lovely Best breakfast we have had. And great value for money, We will definitely be back
