We didn’t indulge with the breakfast menu but certainly the coffees served with a slice of cake everyday very reasonable . The service is always with a smile clean tidy bar and restaurant.

To begin with I felt disappointed as it wasn’t the room as shown in the picture. But after a day I settled down and thoroughly enjoyed it, views are incredible. Five steps and your on the beach, best beach around the island. Very quiet as well no loud music etc

The location is good, right on the Tubtim beach. You can easily walk to the next beach (Ao Phai) and keep going all the way to town.

The room (#1) is right next to the reception/restaurant area. Every morning from around 6am you can hear very loud sounds. There was construction directly behind the room as well which meant you heard talking voices and construction sounds all the time. The curtains do not block out the bright lights outside at night, and people walk/sunbathe directly outside of the room so there is no privacy. Ok for a few nights but not too comfortable.

Exceeding the expectations

A bit of confusion with payments, found it strange couldn't add bills to the room and pay at the check out

Dom's cocktails and Reef Restaurant were amazing, location and beach perfect!

The girl receptionist wasn't kind at all (the one with glasses) We accidentaly broke a glass and the hotel charged us 4 euros for that! Never seen something like that from an hotel! If they aim to be an elegant place, I suggest more charme with customers. What annoyed a bit is the continuous pressure for letting you spend money (not finished your cocktail yet and Waiters press you for another one, at the restaurant the same...calm down and let customer relax!)

Spacious room, friendly, super kind and welcoming staff. It was very nice to enjoy the allocated sun beds and to be able to go and swim to the sea in a minute! The food was quite good, high quality cocktails not to be missed in their little speakeasy attached to the restaurant. Every evening there was a bit of animations with fire lights, very fun to watch. The venue looked classy, very happy with my choice, this is also I think to best beach to stay at when in Ko Samet.

The price of the breakfast buffet was very high for Thailand, but luckily it was delicious. Didn't like to see people walking t in front of my window (they couldn't see me though as their window are reflective) as I was facing the sea; but that said it was empty and nice at night. I wish I had a little desk in my room.
