Blue Bay Bungalow

The location was great, beach front with your own little veranda overlooking the beach and ocean. The beach was absolutely beautiful. Shallow clear water, soft sand and lots of places to relax. Nice restaurant at the hotel and great breakfast, recommend to get the breakfast.

The villa lacked a bit of privacy as the main walkway to the hotel restaurant (Tamarind hotel - blue bay is part of tamarind) was right in front of the villa. The villa itself was basic, needs a touch up inside to make it a bit more comfortable, but it has everything you need. Not luxurious.

The bungalow was clean and spacious. The bed was really big and comfortable. We loved the location the beach was amazing and their restaurant Reef was superior. I would definetly come here again.

Exceptional location, right on the beach in a lovely bay. Room was spartan (no wardrobe, desk, luggage stand) and there were no toiletries, not even a hand soap in the bathroom and the Cable TV basically did not work but the exceptional location made up for it. The bay is secluded but there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby within easy walking distance. The adjacent restaurant is upmarket and serves great cocktails and good food (at a price).

Staff seemed to lack motivation/confidence (need more training I think). The Saturday disco music from midday to 10 pm right next to the bungalow is unacceptable and should be moved to the other side of the bar/restaurant. People come for peace and quiet and not an assault of "thump, thump, thump" for a full ten hours.
