This is a quiet household run by an astonishingly kind and thoughtful woman that was even sufficiently clean and orderly for me as someone who is particular with regard to both cleanliness and order. The owner tends daily to all of the areas of the house in which she allows guests -- including both a large kitchen and a balcony -- and she is a warm conversationalist. I stayed for the duration of an academic conference that was held on the campus of York University, and being able to walk everywhere that I needed was quite helpful. The house is only about a 7-8 minute, comfortable walk from the center of campus (where there is, among other things, a small indoor mall that has multiple enjoyable restaurants and a convenience store).
