Location was good on the main street and a shed to store our bikes.

Hotel was closed when we arrived around 4 pm. Had to wait for the Manager to turn up. Not ideal, especially as we were biking. One towel was still damp, and the underside of the basin in the bathroom had stains that had not been cleaned.

Really nice staff, lovely English/Scottish breakfast using good quality products especially the backon.

The place is a bit tired, stuff broke in room, but all forgiven by the hospitality of the landlord and his knowledge of whiskey.
