Location is fantastic, only a few minutes from Baddeck and right at the start of the Cabot Trail and down the road from the Gaelic College for a great Wednesday night ceilidh. The motel itself is right on the water and the views from the window are amazing. Nice and quiet. Room is very modern, clean and comfortable and lots of thoughtful facilities (toaster and kettle, which is nice so your tea doesn't taste like coffee!) Price is very reasonable for the area and owner is very friendly and helpful with travel tips for the area. Recommend that you check what is open nearby for meals and plan accordingly. There is a restaurant next door that opens for the season but may not be open. That said, it is not far at all to Baddeck for other options and you can bring your own food for breakfast so we didn't find it an issue, just something to manage in advance!
