St Ann's Motel & Cottage

St Ann's Motel & Cottage, stay Friday May 15th, 2026, Some rain showers during the day and overnight, clear next day by noon., The room #3 was clean and cozy, with all the extra amenities in room to make coffee and tea. We did bring some extra comfort food for our breakfast. (As none is provided and was mention in booking) Great lake view from the room of St. Anns area. May is Gaelic month and Colaisde na Gàidhlig | The Gaelic College, is just around the corner and up the hill est. 500 meters to St. Ann's Gaelic College. Nova Scotia tourist season is just starting up! Owner Vince and staff are very friendly and helpful during our stay!

The enthusiastic welcome from the owners Tina and Vince! The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom clean. We really appreciated finding the kettle in the closet because we're not coffee drinkers, and Vince gladly supplied us with more sugar and sweetener. I also appreciated the instructions about using the laundromat in Baddeck and the loan of the card to load with $$ ($4 to wash and $4 to dry). There are two cafes close by--we went to one while the clothes were washing and the other while drying. In spite of being next to the highway intersection, it was very quiet. The view of the bay was great.

Nothing...except maybe the weather! Fog and rain...

St. Ann's Motel: Sehr gute Lage am Cabot Trail. An der Straße Direkt am See nur für Gäste, mit eigenen Sitzplätzen für die Zimmer. Die Motelzimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Bad sauber, mit Badewanne. Bett etwas älter. Kissen bequem. Typisch für Kanada sind nur Laken und dünne Decken übereinander gelegt. Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank vorhanden. Alles funktioniert. Vielen Dank an Tina, die Inhaberin, sie hat mir sogar extra zusätzlichen Kaffee für die Kaffeemaschine gebracht und war für alle Anfragen da. Ich war zwei Nächte dort und bin dann weiter Richtung Norden gefahren. Das nächste Mal würde ich lieber länger hier im St. Ann's bleiben und Ausflüge unternehmen. Verkehrslärm war kaum zu hören (ich war Anfang Mai dort). Grüße auch an Vincent, auch er war sehr hilfsbereit.

Very well, equipped, motel room, with a fantastic waterfront view. This was a great value.

View is fantastic, room is large, details are looked after

The motel was located on a beautiful cove. The bed was comfortable. Good refrigerator. The motel was on the Cabot trail. Had a good selection on Tv channels. Was able to back up car to front door.

Would have been nice to have a more comfortable chair. The Tv remote might need new batteries.

Location was perfect for the Cabot trail and to Baddeck. The rooms are a great size. They are older, but very clean. And the view....wow the view!
