EO Bungalows – Adults Only

I really liked this place and would recommend to anyone who wanted to avoid a hotel like we did. We sat outside every morning and by the fire pit every night. Loved it!

- Thin walls. TV is intentionally left on in unoccupied rooms. Noisy heater/ AC unit. -Very firm, uncomfortable mattress - Do you like the show South Park? The owners of this place apparently do not because this show specifically is blocked. Quote: "Screw you guys" - WiFi signal is weak - I highly recommend Harney Peak in the nearby town, Hill City. They are very nice people, lovey accommodations with a better cancellation policy if your plans happen to change (they will reimburse you if they are able to find someone else to take the room - very reasonable). The owners of EO Bungalows can't be bothered to talk with you on the phone, only text.

Charming suite bungalow. I loved the “special”shower and the motorized mattress. I loved the artsy decorated suite. It was as a great place to come back to after enjoying Custer State Park. A lot of thought was put into all the details and I hope to be back. A few picky ideas…the artsy kuerig coffees were fun but we are not “flavor” fans so a straight coffee substitute would have been appreciated. Also…bigger garbage bins for the kitchen…those tiny ones didn’t work. If you get to enjoy these bungalows give Maria’s food truck around the corner a try. Simple Mexican fare…tasty and Maria was great!!!

We stayed in the 1 bedroom (Bungalow #9) for 3 nights during our recent road trip to South Dakota. What a great place! It's conveniently located within walking distance of many great restaurants and bars in downtown Custer and is a short drive to many of the area attractions. The bungalow had every amenity for a comfortable stay and then some! They truly have thought of everything! Some of the many features of the clean, modern bungalow include an adjustable Purple mattress, great pillows, Kuerig coffee, multi-head shower, and a massage chair that was heavenly after a day of hiking! We also used the "stock the fridge" option and were happy to have delicious healthy snacks on hand. We enjoyed wine and meeting some other guests one night around the gas fire pit in the beautiful courtyard. The only problem is that now we will compare every other place to the EO Bungalows and they likely won't come close to measuring up! The reservation and check-in process was hassle-free. Thanks to Sherry for the warm hospitality and offering such a great home-away-from-home for travelers. We enthusiastically recommend EO Bungalows and hope to return someday!

We really enjoyed our stay in this adorable bungalow. Since no one was supposed to let us in, we were a little concerned, but it was smooth as butter! The entire complex is as beautiful as the pictures and the inside is comfortable and sophisticated - offering everything we could need. We would highly recommend staying here!

We are spending a week at #8 eo bungalows in Custer. What a cute place this is for us! They are new right on edge of town to walk around! There are 4 units with a very cute open courtyard to sit in day or to put on the gas fire in the evening. Couples and singles only. The unit is small with so much detail. Refrig,stove top, coffee maker with pod coffee. All high end amenities. The shower is a very unique experience. Easy to work. The purple bed has raise levels and massage. Everything very compact. I highly recommend these bungalows. We drive to different tourist areas every day. If you want new, well kept, clean, good smells come here. Reserve ahead as it gets booked. We will return.

This bungalow is adorable! The unit was well-equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. There was a massage chair that was so nice after a long drive. The decor was eclectic and interesting. And everything seemed new and in good shape. The bed is very comfortable - it is adjustable and the linens were very nice. The only thing that I could recommend changing would be to let guests know that the TV is located in the ceiling and you have to press the button by the bed to get the TV to lower. Overall, a great place in a perfect location - we easily walked to restaurants, etc.
