HITrental Chapel Bridge Apartments

The view and proximity to Old Town, Pier, Train station etc. The apartment overlooked the river. Great restaurants all around.

Location is amazing, right in the middle of old town above the restaurants - the view from the windows is top notch (see photos)

No cars allowed in area, so you have to pay for city parking and roll bags. Fine if you are prepared, but you are going over cobblestone and stairs so be prepared

Amazing location in the heart of Lucerne with great views of the city, bridge and distant mountains. Comfortable for a family of four with one bed in the main living area. Unique architecture of the apartment made the layout a bit strange but that added to the experience. Lots of stairs to access the apartment but there is a small (2 person) elevator/lift in the building.

The kitchen was outfitted with basics. It was adequate for us but we ate out for all of our meals except light breakfasts and snacks. The kitchen could lack some items if you plan to prepare meals in the apartment. The apartment had a small A/C unit but it was turned off for our first night. Being on the top floor it was intolerably hot that first night. Someone must have come into our apartment the next day because magically the A/C was turned on and a control remote appeared on the table ... A/C made the temperature comfortable during a June heat wave for the remainder of the trip. Low water pressure in the shower. The washer/dryer unit worked to clean our clothes but we could never get the dryer to fully dry them. They came out very damp and we had to hang the damp clothes around the apartment to dry them. There is another shared set of regular washer/dryers on the second floor that worked well.

Location is awesome. Space is wonderful

Great location, restaurants right by the apartment, less than 10 min walk to the main train station. They stored our luggage in the apartment since we reached early , which we really appreciated so we could go out and sightsee until check in time. Definitely recommended the place. Easy check in check out and great apartment.

Unbeatable location! This apartment is in the heart of Luzern, we couldn’t have asked for a better location or view. Easy walk to the train station, a coop grocery down the street, lots of restaurants within walking distance and being able to look out over chapel bridge was a treat. We were there during unusually hot temperatures and the provided fans were very very appreciated.

The beds weren’t very comfortable and a few extra pillows would have been nice (but I also think maybe all Swiss pillows are much thinner than what we’re used to).

The location on the river and steps from Old Town was perfect for our family’s stay.

No complaints

The apartment is spaceful for five of us. The kitchen is well-equipped.

The water is very small at shower and it's not hot enough. It's hard to prevent water coming out from the shower, as there's only a curtain between wet and dry area.
