Good set up great location clean

The room was clean. It was near to where I needed to be the next day. It looked as though it had been recently decorated inside.

I didn’t realise that it was ‘unmanned’ you had to check in at the admiral Cunningham pub where I stayed last time. I felt a bit ‘vulnerable’ with 9 rooms and no night staff ( my mistake I thought I’d booked the pub again!) I struggled to turn the key for the front door so didn’t venture out to the pub for evening meal once I’d got in the house. The window wouldn’t open on a night when it was 32 degrees at 7pm. I think it was broken. There was a fan thank goodness but it was noisy so didn’t sleep well. Was told at check in that there was no breakfast because they had an event on, I expected to have breakfast (England playing in World Cup) I had a lovely breakfast in the pub last time. I’m 5’4” and once I’d moved the pillows out of the way of the curtains which rested on the pillows (no headboard) my feet hung over the foot of the bed! No door to the toilet, no anti slip mat on tiles by the shower.

Old building as expected creaky floorboards and basic rooms for a guesthouse ok for 1 night stopover before our day at Ascot. Comfortable bed .Clean.Kettle.Fridge.Towels . Fantastic staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and went the extra mile to go find me an electric fan therefore I managed to get some sleep -guy on ground floor when I went looking for someone to help contacted staff over @ Admiral Cunningham to rectify an issue with window in room not sure of his name but a lovely guy who made me laugh a lot so funny thanks for the jokes! Check in @Admiral Cunningham pub 1-2 mins over the carpark from the Admiral guesthouse beautiful beer garden and lovely pub and grub I would recommend had a gorgeous afternoon there all staff and the lady who came to chat about the window thank you 😊

Maybe better if alternative in place (like a fan) before guest has to try find a solution when awaiting window repairs… Curtain pole fell off bracket when drawing curtain needs to be fixed ! No shelf in shower /above sink for bathroom bits I had to put on floor /skirting …

It was an unexpected gem. Great value for money and quiet location with good WiFi. It was clean and I was upgraded upon arrival to a double room. Everything worked and I will definitely return. I can recommend this property. During the week a complimentary breakfast is included.

No complaints at all.

Staff were incredibly helpful, noticing my mobility difficulties and allocating me a ground floor room. The bed was really comfortable and the location was quiet.

Was unaware that I needed to go to the reception at the Admiral Cunningham Hotel to book in and collect a key. Apparently this information was on the booking confirmation, but not highly visible! The distance was less than a quarter of a mile away. This was the location for the included breakfast.
