The Admirals Inn Guest House

Staff were very friendly, the room and the house were clean, tidy, in good repair and comfortable. It was convenient for getting dinner and drinks at the pub and was really quiet so got a good nights sleep.

Took me a moment to find the place as the trees had grown over the sign so missed it in the dark. Could cut them back as it's not lit and that would make it easier to spot.

The guest house was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. We also had a lovely breakfast, served by friendly staff.

Room basic but clean, comfortable and good value for money. Breakfast included which was very good. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Needed to go to the parent hotel for the key, but having said that it was only a short walk. Water pressure a little low for shower and basin in the bathroom a little small.

I stayed in the single room on the ground floor and I loved the room. Big windows to let in lots of light with a dark curtain to keep it out, too. There is perfect space under the bed to slide your suitcase under. The bathroom has a spacious shower and good light to do hair and make up. The house is surrounded by big trees inhabited by squirrels. It is quiet. It was clean. I booked the room for it's accessible features and it is almost completely accessible with the exception of a small step up into the shower. The room has a fridge and a kettle and a TV that you can use to log into your Netflix, amazon prime or YouTube account. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I am 173cm tall and the bed is only 180cm long which was too short for me. You have to put a lot of strength into opening the door to your room which was hard for me to do with my cane.
