I loved the location, and setting. It being by a river surrounded by trees made you really feel you could block out all the city noise!

Only tiny details, fire alarm went off randomly in the night. Outside light needed new bulb, and services slightly dusty. HOWEVER known of this would stop me from coming back!

Communication from the host was genuine. The property was equipped exceptionally well. The area around the hut is fenced off, which was perfect for the dogs.

This is a fantastic shepherds hut in a beautiful setting. Our hosts Linda & Kevin were very welcoming and it was lovely to have fresh Milk & Bread on arrival. The surroundings are peaceful and wonderfully close to nature. Great spot for birdwatchers too.

The firewood was a bit wet which made fire lighting tricky in the firepit and a little smokey.

"Beautiful, immaculately clean Shepherds Hut"

Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and in a lovely spot right by the river. The hosts were very friendly and added lots of nice extra touches like freshly baked bread, flowers, fruit, milk, butter and even apple juice. I was very comfortable here, wish I could have stayed longer.
