The Calvert Hotel is the best place to stay in Lewistown. The free breakfast has REAL eggs, REAL potatoes, REAL cheese, and all other real foods!

We stayed at the Calvert on our way back home after a trip to Glacier. The room was incredibly clean and the bathroom was great. It had everything we needed and we were checked in right away. Their breakfast was also great and had a ton of different options. It was a little bit pricier than some of the other hotels in town, but it was totally worth it.

We arrived after a long drive with our college age daughter who had played 2 games of softball that day in 90 degree weather. Our intent was for her to shower, to order supper, sleep and get up early for our 10 hour drive the next morning! Her shower was ice cold, and we assumed it was a one off, even though she was covered in red dirt and so wanting a hot shower! We ate our pizza and went to bed. We woke at 6 am to shower, eat and get on the road. We again realized there was still no hot water. Neither one of us got a shower, which was not a geat way to start a 10 hour drive. We asked another couple at breakfast if they had hot water. They told us no, and a week ago when they stayed on their way through, they didn’t have any then either. We asked the employee at the desk if there was a trick to getting hot water, he told us no, he was aware of it and management was in their way to deal with it. We didn’t not have time to wait. We were very disappointed no effort was made to compensate us. The hotel is lovely and a great view into history!
