Very clean and organized. Good location and friendly staff.

Large and pretty soulless hostel with no atmosphere but comfortable beds and a reasonable price.

The location

I don't like using lifts, I use them as little as possible, at the hostel the stair doors were locked only to be used in emergencies, it felt very unsafe not to be able to use the stairs, also the description gave hours for breakfast as 7am to 9am, but there was no breakfast

Conveniently located 5-10 mins walk from the train station. Nice clean and comfortable rooms and view over the mountains and temple

There is a male staff who is rude and unhelpful.

Nice common area for relaxing between touristing!

Little bit noisy from traffic but not a problem.

I stayed one night alone in the twin bunk bed room on 9th floor w an elevator. It was clean and efficient stay in a room with great A/C, small sink, mirror, little locker on each bed with own lamp and charging station. I think it would be comfortable if two people stayed. There was a toilet on the floor, but for shower, one has to go all the way to the basement. Staff was super friendly. Towel provided, bed was set. Location is ok (15 min walk from the Kyoto station) for quick access to travel in/out Kyoto and Fushimi Inari temple, but not for Kyoto sightseeing (bus 205 takes 30-40 min to Kawamatchi)

There could be a small shower cubicle on the floor to avoid travelling all the way to the basement. The common area is a crammed ‘noodle’ and not very social.
