GBGBWarm, helpful staff, comfy beds and linens, plenty of drinks including fresh milk for proper yorky tea. Water was good pressure and hot in shower. Good location with enough parking. Really kind staff who checked us in late after long journey full of roadworks delays and they organised early breakfast box as well. Super hospitality much appreciated.
Bathrooms tired with lower standard materials and finish. Rooms ok. Nice local photographs as wall art. They cater for hikers with pets so have to strike a balance but a few problems: room radiators not coming on, mirror came off mounting when tilted. Bathrooms would benefit from higher quality updating, eg lino and plastic bath surrounds that push in and are slightly cracked. But might be too costly in current economy.
