Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas

Mr. D’Andre English, the front desk manager was professional very accommodating & went above & beyond. Smiley & Jake @ the Copper & Steel we're great as well.

Great modern hotel, nothing to complain about. Location is a bit dull but perfect for shopping or if you have business in the Northern Dallas area. Short half hour drive to DFW airport too which is a bonus if you have a long flight to Australia coming up. As a Hyatt Globalist, I got proactively upgraded in the Hyatt app a day prior to my stay which is always great to experience. I was given a King corner room on level 11 (out of 16) which had amazing views and ample amount of space which I used to the fullest packing all my US shopping for my flight back to Australia. Check in was smooth and friendly and free parking just outside the hotel on what essentially is the shopping mall roof top was a great bonus. Housekeeping was reliable and efficient, I never came back to the room not done or having to wait while staff was still in the room. Should be the norm really but unfortunately in way too many properties, is not. The hotel feels quite new (or recently renovated? I actually think it’s a fairly new property but not 100% sure) and the pool area was amazing with fancy little water fountains and a bar which was closed this time of year. The only slight let down was the breakfast which was a bit of a mess, slow service and rather unappetising selections at the buffet. But I got it for free as Globalist so also nothing to really complain about. I wish the Hyatt Regencies here in Australia were anywhere near as good as this one in Texas! Would whole-heartedly recommend.

The hotel was located in a central location to great restaurants, activities and convenient to the interstate. Breakfast was excellent as well as the customer service throughout my entire stay.

The hotel served its purpose for accommodations but was disappointed with restaurant not offering breakfast until 7 am, the Market where one could get snacks and coffee was understaffed in the morning and only 1 of 3 elevators seemed to be working resulting in longer wait times to get to and from room

This is a great hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The rooms are large, well-appointed, and offer nice views of the city. Both the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and modern. The gym is spotless and equipped with modern equipment, and parking is easy. The hotel is also attached to a really nice mall. I loved my stay and would highly recommend it!

I think of the Regency as more of a business hotel. However this was very clean and modern. It is a beautiful place. The rooms are large and well appointed. Nice bar in the lobby. Great location!

Excellent stay. The breakfast was A-MAZING! I've had breakfast's at many Hyatt's, this was one of the BEST. The overall stay was great for our little staycation.

Amazing Hotel, attached to Stonebriar Mall, lots of things to do near by. I was there for a business meeting and loved the hotel rooms were sparkling clean and hotel standards were higher. This was my second time staying at the same hotel after two years and I can say that I did not see much wear and tears to the hotel rooms or hotel property. Loved my stay and would recommend it!

I arrived at Hyatt Regency Frisco around 9:30 at night. I wasn’t greeted as a Globalist or offered water, which was fine at first. My husband had called ahead to have chocolate, champagne, and flowers in the room for my 40th birthday. What was there instead were cake pops and canned coffee. I thought the hotel had just done something sweet on their own, I had no idea he had called. My husband was really upset since it wasn’t what he asked for or agreed to pay for. He called the hotel and instead of trying to make it right they tried to come to the room after 10PM to take the stuff back, which was embarrassing as I was already in bed. On Sunday when I checked out, D’Andre English made it right and said he would make sure the staff was spoken to. My husband apparently called the wrong number to set it up, but still, as a Globalist it should have been easier to arrange. D’Andre really turned the situation around and handled it so well. The hotel itself is beautiful. The pool is heated, the gym is super clean, and parking is easy. It’s attached to a really nice mall with Nordstrom in sight. Breakfast was included due to my status and it was a buffet and made-to-order eggs and omelets brought right to the table. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel and we will definitely stay again due to D'Andre really stepping up and taking care of me as a Globalist.
