Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas

I have stayed at this property before and had a delightful experience. This time was hopefully an exception, the front desk and bell services were well below the standard to be expected from a Hyatt property.

I enjoyed the water with fruit provided at the front that was complimentary, the aesthetic of the lobby area, bar, and restaurant was nice and comfortable to hang out in along with the conference areas. All of the staff in bar and restaurant areas were amazingly kind, as well as the front desk and valet.

Mostly the room was clean upon arrival, but as I went to get ice, the box for the ice was filthy and clearly had not been checked in a very long time. It was definitely not a huge deal and was promptly dealt with. The next day, our towels were not replaced even with them in a pile on the floor and our beds were not made. Housekeeping did stop by while we were still in the room and we kindly requested they come back as we were on a break during our symposium and would be returning within the next 10 minutes. This may have been a miscommunication with housekeeping and us, so again not a huge deal at all. We did request towels that night when we returned to the room and they never arrived. The area with the coffee shop was nice and had good selections for coffee and such, but with groups like our symposium having timeframes to adhere to and most of us stopping for caffeine beforehand, the girl making the drinks and running register should not have to be alone with many conferences and groups coming through and having to wait for a single person to do everything. She was absolutely wonderful and did a great job juggling both, but that was definitely not fair to her or the customers. Ultimately, the hotel had many positive qualities and I overall enjoyed being there but these issues did make me question paying the high price that I did and in the future I may choose to not stay here again, but I did due to the symposium I was attending and the convenience of traveling between floors rather than across the street or across town. With the high price of the place, I expect a level of quality to be way above some of the other way lower cost places I have stayed in.

I've stayed at several Hyatt Regencys this year, and I would rank this as one of my favorites so far. It's such a relief to be able rest in a clean and comfortable space when away from home. I also appreciate that parking was free at this location and the extensive fitness center which had a variety of equipment that fit my workout needs.

It was perfect, i’m very picky when it comes to hotels specially with hotel bathrooms! I love how minimal and spacious it is inside. I love the shower area,nice water pressure ! This is the only hotel my family and i stays whenever we’re in DFW

An Awesome Hotel! Staff is very personable and hospitable! Copper and Steel restaurant is very good! The best aspect is the staff! Josh ,Kayla and Kidest demonstrated amazing hospitality! They were kind and very sufficient!

Spending Thanksgiving at a hotel can be tough, but the barista at the lobby cafe, Joshua, went out of his way to make all of us feel at home. He made a memorable impression on my entire family. He made us feel so welcome, and care and attention to detail, made our day! Thank you Joshua!!

Excellent hotel. Well located near the mall. Exceptional staff. Very clean and great customer service from front desk to dining ro bar and housekeeping.
