The Rockaway Hotel

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Don't waste your time or money. The pool is essentially a camp for kids. I was staying at the hotel for numerous days and spent plenty of money at their restaurants and rooftop. I tipped everyone well. On my last day, I was at the pool and in the middle of my meal was asked to move from the pool to another area because I had been there longer than an hour. Nobody was waiting to get into the pool. There were dozens of empty chairs available. Either racist or very poor business practices. The rooms are tiny and the bed uncomfortable. The rooftop is nice is about the only good thing I have to say. DON'T SUPPORT THIS PLACE.

Room was extremely small with no closet space. Bed made a lot noise and creeks. There was a certain smell in the room that was a bit unpleasant. Room was so small that food stuck in the space. Overall, didn’t feel very comfortable.

Beautiful boutique hotel one block from the beach! (Although we didn’t take advantage, they have beach chairs available for guests!) Small heated pool which was kind of crowded but still very nice! Room was small but plenty of space for sleeping! King bed was VERY comfortable! I also had a very nice massage in their spa! Would definitely recommend!!

What a wonderful boutique hotel. Well appointed rooms, amazing views, great pool with excellent food drinks, close proximity to a beautiful beach. Complimentary morning coffee was an added plus. Thrilled i ignored negative reviews 😀
