"Beautiful, remote, romantic with high quality amenities"

Wonderfully remote and connected to the rainforest. Great service and quality facilities and amenities.

It was a bit difficult to access with large luggage. There were an awful lot of ants constantly in the room despite closed doors.

A wonderful retreat! This place is special, with the rain forest literally outside your door. Very romantic and idyllic setting. Thoughtful extras, including extra towels, sunscreen and bug spray. Great outdoor kitchen set up, with seating area. I wish we could have stayed longer.

It is quite a way from the downtown area, and no restaurants nearby. But worth it. Just need to plan for it.

Where do we start! We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at this incredible private location nestled in the rainforest with a flowing creek/waterfall right beside us - but only 10 minutes drive into Cairns CBD. Our hosts went above and beyond - thank you Ingrid and Antje for everything and we can’t wait to visit you again as soon as we can come back to Cairns. Already missing our afternoon swims in your incredible pool and drinks on be deck with the sounds of nature everywhere. We will definitely be back asap!

"This lodge outside central Cairns is an ideal getaway. We loved our time here. In the rainforest with all its wildlife"

An honest, warm and hospitable welcome by Ingrid the owner. The cabin is tucked in the urban rainforest and is one of only two on site. Bed was comfortable and the aircon efficient. The cabin has a good sized bath and shower above and the on-site pool is great to relax. A little rainforest retreat which is just 10 minutes from Cairns - a car is a must.

More hooks etc would be good for hanging clothes etc. A minor issue.
