The hosts were fabulous people, treated our dog at breakfast to little dog treats and fussed her every time they saw her. The breakfast was excellent, the location in the woods close to the beach which our dog could go on as it was out of season. The hart inn also dog friendly and food nice. Short drive to Whitby which is very nice. Our room was very comfy , really enjoyed the stay and we will be going again. Thank you, Ruth, Andrew and Dora

Bit concerned about the spiral staircase to the bathroom, due to a bad knee and back problems. Will just book a different room next time

The hosts were so friendly, helpful and kind. The hotel and our room was spotless, that's important to me. The room was warm and fresh milk supplied for our coffee, a winner. The breakfast was so nice, I worry that breakfast is going to be too much but it was appropriate portions and delicious

That I was only there for one night, wished I'd stayed longer.

Loved the couple who owned the place, felt like another family for me. Very picturesque surroundings, 5 minute walk from the bus stop and Sandsend beach. 10 minutes by bus from Whitby. Great room, which featured a spiral staircase. Highly recommended.

It was quite expensive for me. Not used to paying that much for just two nights. The price might be normal, considering the great location though.

Great breakfast and location, shame no restaurant in the hotel.

Noise from corridor conversations was very audile in the room.
