The size of the flat and the location

Unfinished surfaces and incomplete maintenance are not acceptable in accommodation provided to paying guests. Whether a property is marketed as three-star or five-star accommodation, it should still be properly maintained and presented in complete working order. I understand that age, style, and location influence the rating of a property, and I am happy to make my own judgment on those factors. However, basic maintenance and completion of repairs should not fall below a reasonable standard. As a paying guest, I reasonably expected the property to be fully maintained and properly finished upon arrival. Given that this expectation was not met, I believe some form of compensation or partial refund would be appropriate.
