Staff was friendly and hotel was updated and clean. For the most part.

I traveled to Sandusky for a work conference. I kind of get the drift that not many of the hotels care whether they are any better than any of the others. They will get the business anyway. We went to look at the pool. There was a band aid in the bottom of it. The worst part was night time. I really needed a good night's sleep as I was at a conference. The room was temperature controlled. We couldn't turn the thermostat any lower than 68 degrees. The air hardly kicked on at all and it was stuffy all night. I paid several hundred dollars for a room and could not turn it down. The number one thing I want if I am staying at a hotel is comfort and rest. I did not get this at all. I would not stay here again if I had the choice.

The breakfast was great , I have stomach issues a need certain foods but you didn’t have potatoes in the morning so your staff took it upon herself to go next door a get me potatoes. I appreciated that so much. Definitely will stay here again 😊

The refrigerator in our room did not work. We had perishables and needed to keep several items cold. The staff brought us some additional ice and even took our items and placed them in the hotel’s refrigerator. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to offer assistance.

The room was rather small but super clean. The location on the main road made for some loud evenings and mornings.

Bed wasn’t soft. I would have liked an ottoman.

Could have been a bit cleaner, especially in the elevator and public areas.
