Relais Country House

What a find. Highly recommend staying here. Easy walk into Pompei. 20-30 flat. Bonus after a long day site seeing. Don’t need to find a restaurant. Car park easy access. Train station 10 min walk for a trip to Naples. Restaurant only closed Sundays.

the staff was very friendly

the living area didn’t feel communal with only a 2 seater sofa in a 2 bedroom apartment which was fine because we weren’t there much. the breakfast was a bit underwhelming.

Das Relais Country House liegt zentral und dennoch an verkehrsberuhigter Lage, die Anbindung zu den öV ist perfekt. Wir fühlten uns herzlich Willkommen und schätzten die zuvorkommenden und authentisch, freundlichen Begegnungen mit dem gesamten Personal. Zu empfehlen ist auch die hervorragende regionale Küche der Osteria Nonna Cherubina.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Es wurde uns immer geholfen wenn wir Fragen hatten! Das Zimmer war blitz sauber! Essen in der Osteria war super lecker. Die Ruinen von Pompeji sind in ca. 8 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar! Wir waren zu 100% zufrieden! Danke an alle Mitarbeiter !

We stayed at Relais Country House Pompei for three nights from 30 May 2026 and had a wonderful experience. Our triple room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and came with a huge terrace offering stunning views of Mount Vesuvius. The room also included a safe at no extra charge, which was a nice touch. What truly made our stay exceptional was the hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt less like hotel guests and more like we were visiting old friends. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We arrived at 9:30 PM on a Saturday evening after the kitchen had closed. We asked Paul if he could recommend somewhere to get a takeaway pizza. Instead, he kindly drove us into town in his personal car, waited while our order was prepared, and brought us back to the hotel. This level of care and kindness is something we will never forget. The location is excellent—situated in a very quiet area of Pompeii, yet only about a 15 -minute walk to Pompei Scavi train station and around 20 minutes to the archaeological park. Breakfast was basic but offered plenty of choice, with something for everyone. I would like to thank Paul and everyone at Relais Country House Pompei for making our holiday so memorable. We highly recommend this beautiful place and would happily stay here again.
