El Navegante de Culebra

The property is clean. I like that The restaurant was downstairs. Nobody was really at the front office. They put a key in a lock box And you just get a text message 24 hours prior to let you know which one it is for your room. There is parking if you’re interested in renting a car or golf cart.

The room waa clean and the balcony view was great lots of things to do near it. Lots of good restaurants near it as well. I didn't like La Cocina restaurant that was there not sure if its the same owners but the food was tasteless and just not good. The hotel is walking distance from the ferry so that was a plus

Under construction, no electricity, not well taken care of, staff was not helpful

Deluxe room provided beautiful ocean view. Staff was helpful getting information to access lockbox when I was unable to access an email with the information needed.

The only thing I don't like is the bathtub. There was no water pressure and it was a little complicated to understand or turn on the hot water. But everything else was fine.

Everthing! We were having a difficult time at an Airbnb that had no hot water, soap, Internet, and the car we rented from the host had no speedometer, the back window wouldn’t stay up and had a little piece of paper shoved into it to keep it up, but it didn’t work. We were on a very steep hill the car stalled and lost power steering we almost had a fatal crash. At least the e brake worked! We were bound to a two day minimum stay and we got out of there as quickly as we could. We checked out El Navigante looking for a place to stay. That’s when we met Nania. We knew from the moment we met her that this was the place we wanted to stay. She was friendly, knowledgeable, gave us a map right away and told us about all the wonderful beaches as we love to snorkel. We were rattled by our BNB experience but within moments of talking to Nania, it all went away, She was our angel. The rooms were clean, the bed was great, and the view from our balcony was exceptional. Gratitude to all of the staff at El Navigante both in the hotel and the restaurant. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to come back. Julie and Rob

You should make guest parking a bit easier. My golf cart was move by your parking lot attended because he thought we were not staying when we parked and walked over to Zaco Taco. He should have asked.
