Hotel Carmichael, Autograph Collection

Hotel Carmichael is such a beautiful place to stay. We loved the decor, it was so elegant and classy. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our dining experience as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location! We will certainly be back!

Wonderful property. My only complaint is the fragrance is overpowering in the lobby area

Right in the heart of downtown Carmel, the location is excellent. We walked and rode the Carmel city bikes to cafes and restaurants on the shared path and made the most of our time in the area. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers a really unique experience.

The hotel is very comfortable, but for the price, we were expecting a slightly more elevated experience. For example, there was a refundable charge for the wi-fi. The shower water pressure wasn't great. The linens were a bit starchy, etc. They're little things that wouldn't bother us at a different price point.

From the entrance, to the front desk, to the restaurant, to the gym, and to room, the services were fully excellent. Malachi made sure my partner and I were comfortable when arriving and departing and coming and going in between. Truly a special hotel and would recommend it to everyone I know. Visit Carmel and enjoy the Carmichael.

Everything at this hotel is absolutely amazing! The decor and ambience-perfect, the food-delicious, the service-wonderful! One person in particular, Monte, was very helpful in getting our luggage to our room and making sure we had everything we needed. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Definitely will be back (soon!)

Very nice hotel

Everything is perfect, duh! It’s my first time at this hotel and it’s a treat to myself as my birthday was yesterday. It is luxurious and breathtaking. There is so much beauty to take in. Thank you to Jawavn for his help and making me feel comfortable here!

I’ve stayed at the Carmichael about 4/5 times a year for several years now. The hotel is generally very good. The rooms and social areas feel luxurious, the staff is friendly and competent, and the location is excellent. I do not give it a perfect score mainly due to the breakfast service. When I travel on business I need a good breakfast served promptly early in the morning. Unfortunately the Carmichael’s restaurant staff seem unprepared for business in the early morning hours. If one arrives at the restaurant at 7:00 AM, it takes over a half hour to get food served, unless you ask for fruit or cereal. Knowing this, I’ve tried room service, leaving the breakfast order hanging on my door the previous night. I have done this twice, and unfortunately every time room service has forgotten an item. These problems with breakfast are not critical, and I’ve managed to get around them. The hotel generally is very pleasant.
