The staff was friendly and professional. It's a nice property. The only drawback was that our room looked directly out on all the rooftop mechanicals.

Hotel Carmichael is a lovely hotel in the perfect location! The staff was outstanding and our room was gorgeous! Carmel is our favorite weekend getaway! We love the Monon Trail! Kudos to Alex S for his impressive customer service and excellent attitude!

"Hotel Carmichael ripoff"

So disappointed in hotel not working within Marriott Bonvoy. Found Bonvoy price online, but for some reason was unable to book. Called Mariott who told me to show the Bonvoy price at the desk and my room rate would be adjusted. At hotel, desk clerk told me I was getting Bonvoy price and tucked my bill into an envelope. When I got home, had invoice with full retail ($200+ higher) and didn’t even have my Bonvoy number/points. When I talked with office manager she told me I got best price available at the time of booking. So, lesson learned. Mariott Bonvoy price may be higher than online prices, even though they tell you it’s lowest price available. We had 4 rooms for the weekend. My daughter was also charged full retail even though she booked several days before I pulled up the price online that was almost $200+ less. Bad business Mariott!! Won’t see me anytime soon.
