Hotel Carmichael, Autograph Collection

Staying at the Hotel Carmichael was an amazing experience. The valet was very convenient to use and 30.00 so not bad with in and out privileges. I would use the valet service again. Jacobi was also good!

The gentlemen were courteous and kind. Our vehicle was brought to is quickly and they even helped us retrieve an item we left and needed late at night. Great service!

Had a great experience with Jacobi at valet. Hotel is beautiful and in an amazing location. Front desk is also always fantastic.

Our stay was fine until the last night (a Friday) when the noise from a gala happening downstairs prevented us from sleeping. We had to rise at 5AM to catch a flight out the next day, and the music started getting extremely loud about 9:45PM. The noise from the band was literally so loud we could hear and feel the music even with earplugs in. My sister went to the front desk, explained the situation and that we needed to be up at 5AM, and she was told music would conclude at 11PM. When it did not, she went down again and the front desk person said it should be over soon. My sister was offered a $50 credit, which is ridiculous considering we paid over $500 per night to stay there. The front desk person then offered to comp breakfast before realizing in the same sentence that we would have checked out by then. She recommended speaking to the daytime manager. On checkout the next morning, we raised the issues from the previous evening. This new front desk person took our information and said the noise is an issue almost every weekend, and that they try to book the entire 3rd floor with wedding guests or event attendees. The daytime manager called later that day and refunded a full night's stay, which was appreciated and appropriate. It seems like this is a recurring problem, though. A hotel, at its very least, should be a place you can sleep. If you can't sleep, no amount of decor, rich furnishings, or luxurious accents will make a stay worth the price.

Great hotel let down by the noise from the AC units on the roof outside the window (room 429) you know about this problem but no nothing about this disturbance to sleep. We turned our AC off when we entered the room.

My stay here was great! The valet team was very helpful with all my stuff when I arrived. The service throughout was amazing!

The rooms were very clean and the staff were helpful.
