The Abbey Hotel & Spa was a beautiful hotel in the mountains. It was quiet, clean & comfortable. The entire hotel staff was very friendly & accommodating. The Appropos restaurant was top notch. We would definitely make plans to return again.

From chilling at the spa to eating with an amazing view, or just kicking back away from city chaos, every moment was a treat. It’s the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and forget about the daily grind. I’m 100% coming back!Food was great and service is excellent

"Hotel good but restaurant very slow"

Restaurant was good but wait was very long after ordering. We waited almost an hour for dinner one night in the restaurant and cancelled a breakfast room service order after a one hour wait.

This place is amazing. The site is heavenly, with views of the Hudson and a pool and trails. I wish the restaurant/ bar were open later. But really, the place was perfect.

"Amazing cocktail by Donan"

We had an amazing dinner where everything tasted to perfection. After our dinner, we checked out the bar. I was going to order a tequila cocktail but Donan, the bar manager recommended the gin cocktail he created. I forgot what it’s called but still remember how good and refreshing the gin cocktail was. Donan even gave us a tour of the event spaces and now my husband and I are looking to celebrate our wedding anniversary there next year. Donan went over their package deal and the proposal package deal sounded so amazing. My husband and I are married now, but I was telling him, instead of taking me to a fine dining dinner in the city, I would rather be taken here for a weekend getaway. Marie, the bartender was also so kind. We cannot wait for our next visit to The Abbey and we will for sure spend the night there

"I would love to come back"

The property architecture and decoration, amazing one of a kind. the room with lot's of space, clean and beds very confortable.. staff so nice, professional. very nice view on the city and the lake. the outside spaces are just Wonderfull you can enjoy sitting in the gardens , enjoying the view, working or reading..I ate at the restaurant at it was veery delicious. the cocktails were perfect at the bar. all the staff extremely kind and professional. etc..
