Bizarre, the stay was odd. The hotel is just not aware of the customer experience. Nobody to help with bags, nobody to get valet parked car- had to slide down the driveway in ice/snow (10:30am). Room's furniture was oriented AWAY from the view- that was a crime. Its a spa/hotel/conference center, with a mediocre shower, hot water and scratchy towels? Had reservations for dinner, staying at hotel, special occasion and the initial table was awful- near wait station and in a hallway when other tables were available. Very limited menu and no salt or pepper on table- even at breakfast!? Table water was in plastic bottles (it is a health spa) and the busser served it from under their arm (carried the bottle in their armpit- really). No evidence the restaurant has a Michelin star. Just go in for a drink and walk around- no need to stay.

I am not sure what justifies $500 plus pricing for this space that has drab furnishings and mediocre service offerings. Views to the river are highly obstructed by a rusty city trying to be groovy but miss the mark. I would like to think that we were coming on a busy weekend - but it was MARCH? Nothing about the room was akin to a Four Seasons, but the pricing was approximate to it. Food was flat and service seemed uneven. Mark it down for a greedy owner getting away with overpricing for an area with too few offerings.

Loved the architecture

Property was lovely, food was exceptional, spa was on par with other spa experiences. Great for a girls weekend away!

The property charged me nearly $400 over my bill and when I called to inquire barely offered an apology. It seems their system charged me the difference between the rate I had prepaid on hotels.com and their public rate. I wonder how many other people this happens to as it seemed to be an automatic system. I called the property ahead of time to ensure access to the sauna and was assured it was ok. Upon arrival the spa told me the spa area is for those receiving a service only. This seems odd because of the $40 resort fee. When I inquired what this fee referred to I was given a list like "high speed internet" and "the gym" which are standard at most hotels without an additional fee. Overall its a nice place but one that does not seem to have concepts of hospitality in its policies and systems.

Overall our stay was wonderful and we were left with beautiful memories and a strong desire to return.

The facilities are very nice and everything is spotless but the friendliness and service of staff was the best part. Best service I’ve had in years!

Winding through neighborhood up hill was a little confusing but the view at the top was worth it.
