Please do not book this, when we arrived the cleaner had not been, they arrived a few minutes after and asked if we would like the house cleaning and the beds changing. We went the pub and arrived back an hour later to find the cleaners gone, door open but with no key. This then meant we couldn’t go out anywhere for the rest of the evening until the key was returned. House remained unclean, bedding had not been changed on all beds, this was later on, contacted owner, he told us to go out and buy new bedding and he would refund, not what you expect when you are paying this price.This was at 8 pm, wil two little ones not ideal. Access to the basement was not locked off and this was unsafe with building material etc, dangerous for the children. Rubbish and crumbs left under couches/beds etc. Stains on floor, dog poo in garden, dirt in entrance hall, only one wine glass for 5 of us, the list is endless.

Great house in a town centre location. Handy for facilities.

Could do with a few more utensils in the kitchen.

The size of the house was good

It wasn’t very clean, food down the side of the chairs, bathroom very basic and dated and needed work .floors could have been cleaner and carpets ! Front inner door doesn’t close .

Big house, good location

Not cleaned properly. Bathrooms tired. Top bedroom not usable due to lack of curtains. Required a deposit and contract signing before your stay

No curtains/blinds in top bedroom were 2 adults had to sleep Wet washing left in washer Not professionally cleaned, it looks like it has a surface clean but is in need of a good clean Dirty baking tray left in oven which also needs cleaning Some dusty kitchen ware in cupboards that needed washing before using Back garden full of weeds, an old Xmas tree left, sheets of glass propped up against wall. Bathroom needs some TLC

Good location

The house was unclean, the bedding looked like it hadn’t been washed as there was crumbs in the bed and stains on sheets. The shower leaks and flooded the kitchen, the bathrooms were dirty with hairs in the shower.

Self catering.Location good for Bolton Abbey.Big house ideal for a large group. Suited our needs for two nights. Parking convenient.

Location.in an area where many houses neglected,forecourt littered,stepway walls very dirty as well as outer porch full of grime. Windows dirty and back outdoor area totally neglected. Oven greasy had to clean before use as well as microwave,fridge top mucky. Shower 1 unusable as leaked into kitchen and unclean.bathroom 2 needed refit,shower flex tube filthy should be replaced. Bedroom 1 scruffy pillows without cases on three.Loft bedroom spare unmade bed mattress badly stained,windowhad black bin bag plastic hanging from it no light protection.Not a stunning property. Photos on site out of date especially front appearance now unkempt.
