KEX Portland

Nice place, will return again. Friendly staff and great location fir public transportation.

The decor of the property is so unique. It gave a very quaint and nolstagic vibe. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay here again!

The people at front desk were very nice and helpful. I loved the downstairs lobby/bar restaurant atmosphere as well. I utilized the workout room, and while it was functional I might try to dress it up a little bit. It might be nice to have some maps of Portland around too, so perhaps different neighborhoods can be circled/recommended?

I was in the large room with too many bunk beds for three nights. First night was rough with so many folks hacking, sneezing and coughing all night long. But most left by the second night, and had place to myself on night three. Front desk and cleaning folks were awesome, and hope to return in the future.

Sauna was nice

It was very clean, bed was comfortable, and conveniently located. I loved the bar downstairs, and the rooms came with water. I never had to wait for a bathroom and the bathrooms were super clean. Staff were amazing and I would absolutely stay again.

First time in a hostel. People in thr rooms were respectful and kind.

KEX is a great, central location and in a safe neighborhood. I was traveling solo for work and felt very comfortable. The hotel has a great restaurant/bar, sauna, and price options for all budget types. The hotel has a deal with Knot Springs, 1 block away, which I took advantage of.

This is the only place I stay when visiting Portland! The hotel is fantastic from rooms, the restaurant/bar downstairs, and I can’t rave enough about the fantastic staff!!!!! If you are planning a trip to Portland I highly recommend Kex for your stay!
