Burntwood Court Hotel

Breakfast was quite good but a bit limited if you werent having a cooked breakfast. There were no croissants or pastries on the 2 days we were there so not such good value. On a plus, its the first hotel I've stayed in where the toaster worked efficiently. The room was spacious if basic - fridge would have been nice. Location convenient.

It was quite a trek to our room in the annex. It would have been helpful to know in advance we were in the annex and it was just lucky we hadn't taken our luggage into the main building.

The breakfast was good, my personal preference would be tinned tomatoes, fresh mushrooms and freshly squeezed orange juice

The lift is very slow and I didn't expect there to be stairs to our room. There is a lot of walking between the separate buildings. Eg from the main building to the restaurant for an evening meal you have to walk from the main building which isn't good in bad weather. The rooms don't have ceiling lights. I found the shower difficult to turn on and the head is in a fixed position. There isn't anywhere suitable to hang a wedding dress in the room.
