Апартаменты были неожиданно маленькими. Вход находится по соседству с баром. Клиенты бара курили кальян сидя у входной двери в парадную, также могли сидеть странные люди с алкогольным опьянением. Что было дискомфортно по возвращению вечером домой.

Close to the centre and the train station. Warm, the batteries are adjustable. There is the set of kitchen ware, the linen is nice and the pillows are comfortable. There’s a toaster and a coffee machine.

The mattress. The springs are connected and the rest has been influenced. In the morning from 8 (maybe earlier- I woke up at that time) up to 11:40 there was no light due to construction works outside. But the manager was helpful in finding the reasons and suggesting the way out by prolongation of the stay for an hour which gave us a chance to have coffee and use the hair dryer before checking out. The ceiling is for about 180cm but it’s a feature of old buildings. There were no shower amenities in the bathroom- not even a piece of soap. It was surprising and dissatisfying. If you are carrying a suitcase- it will be tricky to climb up the narrow stairs to the 3rd floor. We also lacked the tulle. The curtain is black out and if there is no electricity- you have to open that and you instantly get acquainted with the neighbours and you may become very intimate, I mean they will know the peculiarities of your body if you are just out of the shower. The buildings are writhing the stretched hand distance. So the tulle would be a way out.

Konumu harikaydı. 3 günlük seyahatim boyunca neredeyse her yere yürüyerek gittim. Evin içi temizdi, yorumlarda bahsedildiği üzere gece aşağıdaki işletmelerden sesler gelebiliyor ama benim için bu hiç sorun olmadı. Ek olarak temizlik ve eşyalar konusunda da her şey güzeldi. Mutfak araç gereçleri tamdı, kısa bir seyahat olduğu için ben kullanmasam da uzun seyahat edecek kişiler için verimli olabilir. Yine yorumlarda bahsedildiği gibi eski bir yapı olmasından merdivenler oldukça dikti ama çok eşyası olmayanlar için bir sorun teşkil edeceğini düşünmüyorum.

Daha önce denk gelmediğim şekilde apartmanı boşaltırken temizliğe önem verilmesi bekleniyor. Bu benim her zaman dikkat ettiğim bir şey, bu nedenle çıkarken tabii ki de odayı toparlayıp çöpleri attım fakat apartman yönergesinin olduğu kağıtta eğer çöplerin atılmadığını ve yönergeye uygun apartmanın bırakılmadığını tespit ederlerse 100 frank ceza yazılacağını belirtmişler. Özellikle konaklama yaptığım yerlerde ödediğim bütçeye temizliğin de dahil olması gerektiğini düşünüyorum bu yüzden bunun ceza yazılma ihtimali olan bir şey olarak belirtilmesi beni biraz şaşırttı. Ek olarak arkadaşlarla seyahat edenler için duş odanın giriş kısmında ve saydam bir duşakabin bu nedenle bazı kişiler için rahatsız edici olabilir.

The apartment was clean, the bathroom is modern and spacious. It is maybe acceptable during the week when there is no nightlife in Zurich old town.

The room smelled of Cannabis (the window was closed, so it could not have come from the outside). It was very noisy all through the night from the bar below. I could could hardly sleep and hence decided to book a different accommodation for the 2nd night as I was in Zurich for work/professional training and needed a restful sleep. It should be made clear that there will be considerable noise which can be easily heard despite closed windows.
