The building was unfinished - toillet was not fixed to the ground. The management of the place was very messy. They did not ask who we were upon arrival; got the details of our stay wrong at arrival and at departure - first they said we were staying only one night but our booking was for 2 nights, then they said that superior room means ground floor (no reference/explanation was put in the room description in booking); at checkout day they told us that they only accept cash and they got the checkout date incorrectly; communication via WhatsApp message - never called back nor showed up to speak to us. There was a massive water pipe leak - making a waterfall coming from the top floor, and they did not care to inform us about the status nor resolution (we informed them about the situation since we could not see any staff on-site). Overall - the view is nice, and bed is confortable. But the rest - overpriced for what it is.

Absolutely amazing views (request the top floor!) and it was incredible to see the wildlife. Gorgeous dogs, monkeys and chipmunks. We loved having breakfast on the balcony and looking over the view. The room was very spacious too.

Not about the property but quite a steep hill up to it so just have this in mind if you are someone who struggles with that. Our tuk tuk couldn’t make it up the hill so we walked it :)

Big, clean room with great views of Ella rock. Good breakfast sitting on the balcony. Bit of a walk up a steep hill, but worth it for the views. Staff were very friendly and helpful, overall a good stay in a fantastic town.

We stayed on the top floor the views of this room exceeded our expectations. The rooms are very large and in a quiet area just outside of the main strip of town which is a noisey spot. The staff are also very friendly and easy to contact if you had any issues or questions.

There is no reception in this building and it was hard to find. The accomodation is up a steep hill which is difficult for any car to access. Whilst this was no issue for us if you have any injuries or are unfit I would not recommend this location.

I enjoyed my 3 night stay at Inspira. The room was comfortable with lovely interior design and beautiful mountain views in a natural environment. Ella town is within walking distance. The staff are thoughtful and kind; Sri Lankan hospitality at its best. Shadeeth was exceptional! After a long train delay, he kindly arranged my transportation and dinner due to my late arrival and was helpful throughout my stay. I will remember Sri Lanka for the beautiful scenery but most of all the wonderful people.
