Fantastic location with views of Ella Rock and Ella Gap

Hasn’t been well maintained. There were several issues with the plumbing in the bathroom and the tv wasn’t working.

The USP of this place is clearly the view. On good days, I have never seen a better view. And having breakfast on your terrace with this view is simply unforgettable. Also value for money is quite good for Sri Lanka (we paid around 55$ per night).

Unfortunately, there are a few drawbacks. - sometimes no water (neither hot nor cold) - when the weather isn't good, there is no view and it is cold/wet/windy up there

Beautiful views, nice breakfast, spacious and comfortable room. Host was helpful in assisting with transport and giving recommendations. Other than being at the top of a steep hill the location was really good and walkable to both the town and nine arches bridge / Little Adam’s peak.

WiFi was poor at times.

The view was true to the photos and spectacular. The nights the sky and stars with fire flies was amazing. Breakfast was excellent

Accessibility to the accomodation is basically very hard especially with luggage, even without. Our driver could NOT get his car up there. Therefore we required a Tuk Tuk when going anywhere. The stairs to our room were extremely steep as well

Large comfortable room with all you could need. Wonderful views across the valley, friendly staff. Just be aware it’s up a very steep hill that cars can struggle with

Bathroom in serious need of updating, views on website are from the more expensive top room so just be aware, slightly obscured on the lower rooms. Hotel next door being built for probably the next year which is very noisy from around 9-5pm

Gorgeous spacious room with an amazing view. We stayed on the top floor and had the best view. The rooms was much bigger than expected and had great amenities such as boiler, fridge, small kitchen and mosquito net over the bed. No AC just a fan, but it worked out fine because of the cooler climate in the mountains (january). The toilet and shower was gorgeous with nice smelling soaps. Staff was quite careful but very nice and helpful even though they did not say much. Breakfast on the terrace was just an incredible way to start the day.

Wi-fi was quite slow in the evening but fine in the morning? Would have been nice to have extra towels for the bathroom, but we never asked for this, so maybe it was possible to get on request.
