Youtei is great value and super close to the slopes. You have access to all the facilities of the main hotel just a 5 min walk away. The staff are great and I met a bunch of awesome people during my time there.

If you're not used to the traditional Japanese futon/pillow you might want to bring your own pillow.

Beds could be a bit better. Little things like a little shelf to put your phone for charging is a simple and big win.
