簡易な宿泊施設としては充分。他の音が気になる人にはお勧めしないです。シャワーはありますが、近くのホテルの日帰り湯もお勧めです。

Super accessible to the slopes, cheap accommodation right there at the bottom of the mountain.

There was only one shower in the building, and you hear noise from guests walking past your room/up the stairs. I would have liked a bit more privacy, but good to be social and be involved

Very cramped sleeping area. Kitchen not available in the morning for breakfast because it’s in a room next to where night Staff sleep. Available at night but not much cutlery or plates.

Very nice location and it‘s close to the ski lift.

There is no chair in the bedroom for guests to sit.

I stayed here as it was a hostel in walking distance to Rusutsu Resort and I was literally walking to the ski fields through the resort from this hostel each morning, I cannot emphasise how easy it was every morning. The hostel is also an Izakaya, hence the accommodation was above the restaurant. This wasn't an issue and in fact I ate dinner downstairs one night. Staff are friendly. The beds are dorm beds built into two rooms. For some reason my bed had a lot of condensation on the wall and I think it was due to the lack of insulation from the exterior during winter. I was always warm though, I was never cold. There is ski and snowboard storage. Overall during my stay I think my expectations were exceeded slightly. As a side note it is a real pain to get to Rusutsu if coming via Niseko as there are no tour companies offering a direct transfer here via Niseko, instead I had to go from Niseko back to New Chitose, then from New Chitose to Rusutsu. I would encourage others planning a Hokkaido snow trip using buses to first go to Rusutsu, then go to Niseko, as it will be much easier logistically instead of Niseko first then Rusutsu.

The dorm needed an additional toilet and shower. I actually never used the shower as it was always occupied and instead just used the bath house in Rusutsu Resort each day. Sometimes the smell of the restaurant would travel upstairs to your clothing and bags and one of my jackets I had hanging up in storage smelt like the restaurant afterwards. There was not enough insulation behind my bed to the snow outside of this wall and each night condensation built up and wet my pillow from behind.
