"Exceptional"

We just returned from a great stay at the Hampton Inn. We were able to walk to all our destinations each day, not needing our car the entire trip. The hotel is pet friendly and we traveled with our dog and young daughter. We would definitely chose to stay here again on a future trip to Salem!

Bathroom ceiling had mold above shower. Pool water looked dirty and pool lining had green spots on it. Breakfast was good and hotel was walking distance to a lot of tourists destinations.

Room was dirty. There was a Tick on the bed and when I pulled down the sheets, there were crumbs and hair. I called the front desk and they said they would send up housekeeping but they never did.

"All good restaurant noise to much"

Overall good stay friday night was loud in room could hear conversations from restaurant below up till 10 pm

Everything really good the bed and atmosphere great the pool though on the top ceramic sides needed a cleanup on the walls

The location is excellent and very close to anything you may want to do. The breakfast was good with a nice assortment. We would stay again.

Although site said parking there is a surprise $27 parking fee. I thought site policy said the price is all inclusive but this hotel has surprise fee.

Two things bothered me - because of the barn style door to the bathroom, your roommate can See and Hear you going to the bathroom. Also the doors to the rooms are tremendously heavy, which means they slam every time someone goes in or out of their room. Other than that, the hotel was great.
