Alsarmadi Desert Camp

Erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Alsmaradi Desert Camp. Prachtige tenten, eigen sanitair hokje met zelfs een warme douche. Eigenaar is erg vriendelijk.

Het is vrij dicht bij het dorpje waardoor je ‘s nachts wat licht vervuiling had om goed sterren te kijken.

It is a very nice place to stay with very helpful people. We highly recommend to do the 6 hour desert tour with Said. This was one of the best tours we ever had and the cooking from him in the desert was excellent. A great experience you should not have missed on a tour in Oman.

We had a wide choice of activities to choose from. We absolute best ever was the 5 hour excursion with our wonderful guide Said. We visited an orchard, a dates-processing factory, a beduin settlement, dune bashing and, the cherry on top, we had lunch cooked by Said with a little help of our kids, under a tree in the middle of the desert. Fabulous experience which we highly recommend!!! Accommodation was very good and clean. Breakfast was surprisingly varied with plenty of tasty choices. The atmosphere at the dinner was very warm, food was very tasty. Watching sunset and sunrise is the desert is a magnificent experience!

We had just instant coffee to be prepared with hot water. For a coffee adict like myself this is barely survivable. :)

Alfarooq and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly. The food was delicious, the views amazing and the entire experience was perfect.

This camp is very family oriented; all the guests except us had children, so if you are a couple looking for a more quiet and perhaps not so children full time, you may want to look at another place.

Absolute Weiterempfehlung! Gut gelegen, man wird abgeholt und perfekt ins Camp geleitet. Geräumiges und gemütliches Zelt. Wir hatten eine eigenes Badezimmer. (Toilette, Dusche und Waschbecken. Strom war Zelt vorhanden. Gute Möglichkeiten und vor Ort ein wenig zu Dünen zu erkunden oder Touren geführt zu unternehmen. Super Sonnenuntergang und leckeres Essen. Mega Sternenhimmel und absolute Ruhe. Würden es auf jeden Fall für eine Nacht weiterempfehlen.

Dit overtrof werkelijk onze verwachtingen! Fantastische locatie met een magisch zicht op zand duinen. We hebben hier kennis mogen maken met de Omaanse gastvrijheid; zeer vriendelijke mensen! De geitjes melk mogen geven onderweg naar het kamp was tevens een heel leuke ervaring. Het was ook heel fijn dat we met het ganse gezin in 1 tent konden overnachten.
