Thatcher Hotel

The place has a lot of ambiance but at the cost of most amenities. It has no elevator although it has three floors you must walk up every time, and because it is an old building there are a lot more stairs. There is no ice so everything is ambient temperature!The only chair in the room is an old very uncomfortable wooden school chair, and only one per room. The doors don’t come near the floor so you get to hear everything from the hall and the room next to you. The bartender makes a mean drink!

Nice breakfast selection and free coffee! Great pastries too.

Air conditioning was pretty loud in the room which made it difficult to sleep. They give you ear plugs when you check in probably for this reason.

Location was excellent for wedding weekend. Pool, bar, food options.

One of the best welcomes at a hotel. Loved the room and pool. We look forward to returning!

The hotel and grounds are absolutely incredible! Nice and modern inside, but with a warm atmosphere. Everything was so beautifully decorated and the grounds out back were so cool! The pool, fire pits, lounging areas, and bocce ball gave it a nice touch. My partner and I were also obsessed with house spacious the bathroom in our room was. The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. There were also well crafted cocktails and a great selection of spirits. There is also a colorful history to the hotel which adds to its charm. It was at one point a brothel and is allegedly haunted by a previous owner and madame. What more could you want from roadside gem! We cannot wait to come back next time we are in the area. New favorite spot!

Beautiful hotel with every detail considered. Fantastic cocktails & good lattes, too.

Friendly staff, history of hotel, pool, proximity to good restaurants, bar, landscaping/greenery/plants/flowers were stunning, property was updated.

AC control took a little while to figure how to use. Stairs to 3rd level was a chore to climb with luggage, but good exercise. A little more pricy than we are used to paying.

The staff (Kevin/bar, and the two women who were running the coffee shop) were so nice! The grounds are lovely. Love all the seating, inside and out. GREAT coffee shop. Beautiful bar. The room was totally comfortable; huge bathroom. So nice to have the pool! Loved the library=)
