Thatcher Hotel

We loved our stay here. My husband said it was the best night sleep he'd had in months. Fyi, there is no tv. We werent prepared but it was fine. Great bed, great shower.

Our stay at the Thatcher was lovely! The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were comfortable.

Staff is always pleasant and knowledgeable.

If only they had jacuzzi tubs.

Cute little hotel. Clean, spacious rooms with high ceilings.

No television.

The Thatcher is a beautiful property and most of the staff is friendly and helpful. The main drawback for us as folks in their 70's was the lack of an elevator that necessitated a steep climb to the 3rd floor with all our luggage with no allocated staff to help (we did get help from a female staff who was courageous enough to carry a heavy suitcase up all those steps). Our room was very quiet (on the back side) and the bed very comfortable. A single window brought in little light and, while the design was elegant, the furnishings were sparse and did not offer a comfortable space to hang out in. The complimentary morning coffee was good but cafe staff seemed overwhelmed.

Clean and comfortable! Fun and historical! Very kind staff ( Kevin the bar tender was very good) the on site coffee shop was excellent. I look forward to returning. Couple of things to note...No pets allowed and no elevator. Both were fine with us.

I had to leave right at 6 am and there was no hot water or anything in the lobby to make my own tea or anything. Room was a bit noisy as it was on the 101 side but next time I’d just ask to be on the other side if possible.

Lovely historic hotel, with a lot of charm and wonderful staff. Super clean and beautiful design! And the best part: Super friendly and helpful staff!

While they did warn us, the fact that the plumbing didn't function properly :(
