Masana Algarve

This hotel and its location are absolutely magical. We stayed in a sea-view apartment, and waking up each morning to open the shutters and hear the sound of the waves was such a special experience. Our apartment had two balconies — one upstairs and one downstairs — which made it perfect for our stay with our six-month-old baby. It was so convenient to return to the apartment for naps during the day, and in the evenings we loved relaxing on the balcony with a glass of wine, listening to the waves and soaking in the atmosphere. The apartments are incredibly spacious, and the décor is divine — effortlessly bougie in the best way. I had seen some reviews mentioning that the apartments were showing wear and tear, but I completely disagree. The maintenance is excellent, and everything felt very well cared for. The landscaping throughout the resort is unbelievable and creates such a tranquil environment. The pool area is beautiful and, again, has that luxurious bougie feel. Breakfast was also of a very high standard. The resort is also perfectly located — around a 10 minute walk from the local village, which has a small selection of bars and restaurants. We visited in April during the off-season, and the town was just beginning to come to life, which suited us perfectly. One of the highlights for us was the beach access. The resort feels like it has its own private beach just a few steps down from the cliffside. Having the cliff walk right on the doorstep was also incredible, especially in the mornings. The views are breathtaking, and the whole area has such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Finally, the staff delivered exactly what you would expect from a five-star Hyatt experience: warm, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and cannot wait to return.

Nous y avons séjourné en mai, saison idéale dans cet hôtel. Tout était vraiment parfait. Le personnel au petit soin, la qualité des prestations... Vraiment top! Et avec un enfant c'est parfait ! La piscine et la mer .... Le paradis!

Superbe emplacement, personnel très agréable. Les infrastructures sont top. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner !

It was a lovely hotel, modern and nicely decorated. The garden was beautiful and well maintained, and there's a lovely small beach nearby and walking trails by the sea (though not toddler friendly). The area was great, though we were not fans of Albufeira city proper. Our room type was garden view, but we also had a direct beautiful sea view. The staff was always friendly and breakfast was of high quality, though quite slow as it was a la carte (at rush hour an order could take 30 minutes).

-Stairs and the railing (see the picture). Our 2-year old could climb the railing, so she could not be left alone upstairs even for a second. This was inconvenient as the toilet was downstairs. The child gate could not be installed securely. -There are dull Ikea knives and only 4 of each dish and cutlery which is inconvenient during a long stay. -Music is played not only at the restaurant and the pool, but around the whole property. The music was mostly calm but occasionally more disturbing. Would be nicer without music. Also the noise isolation of the room was ok to the sides, but not to the upstairs apartment. -Seagulls live at the pool. During the day there's a falcon guy to keep them away, but after around 16 when he leaves the seagulls come back and poop around and in the pool, which can spread e. coli and salmonella. Also the pools were not very well cleaned, the children's pool was full of bugs, and it was not cleaned even when I notified the staff. -While the staff was friendly, there was an apparent communication problem between the management and the maintenance staff. When we would ask for something, the management would always say yes, but then 60 % of the time the thing was not delivered. For example, I asked for perfume free soap three times, would always be told yes, and never delivered. Same with a spare toddler pillow case. Or when I asked for a more thorough cleaning in the middle of our two week stay, I had to ask on two days before it was done. Or when I asked for more hand paper to the women's toilet at the pool, it was not replaced. I just expected better from this kind of hotel. -We had an ant problem, and even though I was promised no pesticides would be used, they did so behind our backs. The guy who came in to deal with them actually lied to my face when I asked to confirm there would be no pesticides before going out with my family. It was very off-putting and made me wonder what else they did behind our backs.

Wspaniałe położenie przy pięknej plaży, pośród niesamowitych roślin. Stylowe pomieszczenia, bardzo uprzejma obsługa. Pyszne śniadania :)

Apartament zarezerwowany dla 4 osób , ale pościel była tylko dla 2, na podwójnym łóżku. W kuchni brak soli/pieprzu/oliwy. Designerska, ale mało praktyczna zastawa stołowa.To tylko małe drbiazgi , ale myślę , że do poprawy ;)

Amazing breakfast, so relaxing, we loved the concept and the quality is second to none! Amazing staff too, we enjoyed every Morning to the maximum! The Location is unbeatable, the lovely property itself with the self catering Apartments, the Great Restaurants when you don’t want to Cook, the beach access to the most lovely beaches, …

Le nettoyage sommaire et terrasse sale pas faite. Sèche cheveux pas fonctionnel. Le Prosecco dans le frigo facturé en fin de séjour à .... 41 € sans afficher le moindre prix.

The staff were great! The food was good! It was nice having a washing machine to wash our clothes. Love the pool.

I wish there was a Dryer to dry our washed clothes.
