Residence Mercure Paris La Defense Grande Arche

Not good at all. Took ages to check in. They had 4 staff on the desk but only 2 working (very slowly). Room is really tired. Needs a complete makeover as does the whole block. Also had to have the key card changed twice in our 2 night stay due to it not working. Room is budget looking i.e. everything about it screams cheap and nasty, from the 70s carpet to the broken light fittings, dirty looking bathroom and broken TV. Also, no aircon, so room was very hot (it was around 23 deg outside during the day). Not what you expect for a £200 a night room. On the plus side, it was clean, just didn't look it.

A proximité du RER, à 10 mn à pieds de la Grande Arche de La Défense. Quartier calme, de nombreux restaurants dans le voisinage proche.

Les personnes dormant en résidence sont moins bien chouchoutés que les personnes dormant à l'hôtel. Le ménage n'a été réalisé qu'une seule fois dans la semaine et la veille du départ. Sinon, tout le reste est de bonne facture.

L'appartement etait propre dans l'ensemble mais merite d'etre renové. Les murs etaient abîmés, certaines prises ne fonctionnait pas, le paredouche laissait passer toute l'eau ce qui innondait la petite salle de bain a chaque passage. Des crochets manquait au rideau et dans l'ensemble l'éclairage n'etait pas suffisant. Pour une note positive, la litterie etait tres confortable.

The apartments are slightly tired and quite small but they’re v convenient for the arena

On a pris les escaliers (ascenseur n’a pas fonctionné mais vite réparé)

Estadia de dois dias padrão Mercure , quarto amplo e limpo .. tudo funcionando, do lado do RER A
