House of Backpackers

Location is inside a busy market area, parking is available on the road. Safety of the vehicle could be a possible concern. the property is freshly renovated and has some teething issues, which I believe the management will look into the same. The Restaurant is not fully functional as of now... but work is in progress, in room services like kettle and cups were missing but were provided on request. Staff especially Mr. Manish the manager was very accommodating and helpful.

Water provided was filter water in plastic bottle placed in the common room fridge, could have been replaced with bottled water / mineral water. WAS expecting a room with a Double bed with Bunk Bed for kids, but had to be satisfied with two large and spacious Double Beds, (not a great issue for any complaint) it just lowered my excitement since I could not surprise the kids with that.

Belle et propre chambre. Le personnel était très à l’écoute! Le gérant nous appelait un tuk tuk quand nous en avions besoin! La localisation est idéale.

Le menu du restaurant n’était vraiment pas très fourni. Pas de possibilité de petit déjeuner un peu international. Le rooftop était en travaux donc pas hyper agréable d’y manger ou d’y passer du temps!

Zamówiliśmy przez hotel taksówkę na zwiedzanie atrakcji pod miastem, umówiliśmy z właścicielem hotelu pisemnie plan trasy i kwotę. Przysłano nam auto po czym po 3 z 4 atrakcji kierowca zawiózł nas na dworzec i powiedział, że do 4. nas nie zabierze, bo jest za późno i za daleko. Ostatecznie zapłaciliśmy część kwoty, ale ta atrakcja nam przepadła. Nie mieliśmy już czasu się cofać, zwłaszcza, że wcześniej zawieziono nas do jubilera na pokaz biżuterii, z nadzieją na zakupy, czego w planie nie było.

I stayed at House of Backpackers for 3 nights and 4 days and had a great experience overall. The stay was comfortable and well-managed. A special shoutout to Sharanpal Singh, who was extremely helpful during the check-in process and went out of his way to suggest some really good local eateries and nearby tourist spots to explore. The rooms were clean and cozy, providing a relaxing space after a long day of sightseeing. The common room was a real highlight — filled with a variety of games and a great place to unwind and meet fellow travelers. The location is decent and fairly convenient for getting around. The staff was really polite and helped with every request. Would definitely recommend House of Backpackers to anyone looking for a friendly, budget-friendly place to stay!
