Nice restaurant across the street, staff was very nice, places for pet walking, parking, showers were strong

Space was a little confined, breakfast was ok, nothing special, no extra chair or sofa, desk was small, no microwave, had to go downstairs, ice buckets were downstairs, it’s efficient for them but an inconvenience to me

Receptionist Angel. What a talent. She made my wife and I feel special with a kind smile and greeting. Even found me some peanut M&Ms and brought them to our room. The next morning Angel greeted us with the same vibrant personality. Made a stay and next day.

We stay at Avid a lot as we are in Nashville almost once a month for car racing for my son. The Avid is close the track, always clean, has nice double-bed rooms, and plenty of parking.

A storm rolled in Thursday night which is the day we were supposed to check in and wiped out the power for the hotel. It is beyond me how a hotel of this magnitude can operate without a backup generator. The power was out until 11:30pm and we could not check in. My son and father slept in the truck while I searched for another room elsewhere which was not available so late in the day. The Cambria got power back hours before Avid and they are both IHG Hotels and in the same parking lot. When I asked they said they were waiting on the maintenance man to turn the power back on. The maintenance man showed up with his whole family and they all joked around with staff while the lobby full of frustrated tenants watched. Terrible over all experience after a long day at the track and being in wet clothes. We just wanted to check in, shower, and lay down, instead we spent half the night in a pick-up truck and still paid for a whole night in a room. I feel like I should be refunded for that Thursday.

Everything was fine.

Clean and inexpensive, location made airport transit easy

All the lights were cold, 5000K daylight bulbs. Felt sterile rather than cosy.

Clean and decent breakfast. Staff was very nice and helpful. Neighboring hotel had a restaurant/bar and laundry facilities.

No in-room coffee or tea, but they did have it downstairs.

Very friendly staff. Very clean and well taken care of.

Nothing everything was great.
