Signiel Busan

Truly heavenly. Please definitely take a beach view room or the suites - worth every penny. I cannot say enough about this hotel, the staff, the view, the live music, the ambiance and everything around it. Signiel Busan is heaven.

Booked this hotel through Amex. My husband and I stayed here as a buffer between a big family trip to Seoul and a couple's trip to Japan. It was our first time in South Korea but we are no stranger to nice hotels. There are so many reasons I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel. You can tell they put a lot of thought into service. They escort you to everything (your hotel room once you check-in, the table at breakfast, the room at the spa). Not sure the purpose of escorting you everywhere, but it was a nice touch. We were upgraded to a corner room with a balcony that faced the beach. I LOVED the design of the room. Comfortable bed, floor to ceiling windows, amazing shower, toilet separate from shower (I love this), and tons of closet space. Turn down service twice a day! Location was also amazing being that we were so close to the beach, there was an Olive Young downstairs, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet is top notch with plenty of options, but beware, it gets busy on the weekends. That was the only time I saw any of the workers sweat or show any signs of stress. I opted for a massage which was amazing but it's not the type of spa where you can chill before and after in a robe and make use of the sauna. It's an extra fee to use the sauna which I thought was weird. We came in April so it wasn't quite hot enough to lay out on the beach or pool area, but the outdoor infinity pool is beautiful with a hot tub that looks out towards the water. The indoor pool is for laps only and you must wear a swim cap and not have tattoos. All in all, it was such a relaxing stay and I highly recommend, especially during the shoulder seasons!

The duty manager Jason Jang turned my experience around, went above and beyond to ensure my celebratory experience was not only salvaged, but improved. The rooms and all the premises of the hotel are spacious, sparkling clean and beautiful. Ocean view room is incredible, but Mipo harbor view is also beautiful.

I was there to celebrate my 40th birthday, and certain shortcomings happened due to miscommunication between me and my husband and the hotel. As stated above, however, since I let the hotel know of how I felt about it, they more than rectified my experience.

South Korean are very nice, kind, we felt so comfortable. Everyone is smiling and trying to work the perfection and give their best. The city is clean, there is common sense, you have a sense of comfort

This is my second stay at the Signiel Busan, but this time I’m unfortunately very disappointed with the room. Not because of the room itself, but because of the view. During my first stay, I had a wonderful view of the harbor. This time, unfortunately not. I need to mention that compared to the first stay I had a Grand Deluxe Double/Dalmaji-gil View and this time a Premier Twin Mipo Harbor View was booked. The hotel offered us an upgrade, but it was not satisfying as well. The room was much bigger, the view a bit better but the bathroom was smaller compared to the first room we were offered to.. but compared to my first experience still disappointed. Anyway, a big thanks to Eric, he assisted us on the fist day, he was very patient with us, accommodating and helpful. Thank you Eric!
