Excellent breakfast, good beds and shower. Close to downtown, lakefront and 3rd Ward.

First room was a dump, which inexplicably either the desk clerk didn't know, or thought she could pawn off on us. Second was good. What is it with the ripoff valet parking for so many downtown hotels? It's either that, for an exorbitant price, or throwing you to the private parking and street wolves. And once your vehicle is parked god knows where, you can't access what you want in it. It's Holiday Inn Express, not the Ritz. Life in America, everybody's on the take, and heaven help you if you need anything.

Everything about the hotel was great. The staff was wonderful and offered suggestions on historical buildings. The hotel was in a great location. It's just 2-3 blocks from the Third Ward where there is lots of shopping and restaurants including the public market. Fun area!!!

It was a good hotel for our event at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Close to restaurants and venue.

The lighting in bathroom could use an upgrade.
